− netheid kamer, tafel was niet goed gekuist. Alles kleefde vast aan de tafel an zodra je er iets opzette. Hebben tafel dan maar zelf afgewassen.
Tidy but not as described
6.0Location is just outside the main part of Paihia, but right next to a grocery shop and petrol station. The room size was fine, with a bed, table and chairs and the bathroom was also a good size. There was also a pool and ample parking free of charge. There is also a laundry ($4 per washer/dryer) which is handy when travelling.
− The listing said it came with a microwave, which wasn’t correct. They also say reception is staffed 9-430 daily, also not correct (I tried on 2 occasions, both within hours, but both times the door was locked). The spa bath was broken as well, unclear for how long this has been the case. Also, there is a step in the bathroom that is not clearly marked as a hazard. The bed also was quite uncomfortable.
Relaxing and enjoyable, lovely pool area
8.0Although Te Tiriti is a bit further from the main shops and restaurants in Paihia I like the location better. It is closer to the nicer end of the beach for swimming and right next door to Woolworths. It only takes 10 mins to walk to the main part of Paihia. The pool was the standout feature for my family, the kids spent hours in there ! There’s heaps of parking and the rooms were spacious, well furnished, Comfortable and clean
− I couldn’t really fault our stay but perhaps one thing that might be a downside for some would be that there wasn’t great coffee, but I think that’s a reflection of the price paid for the room and with Woolworths next door it’s easy to pop over there for Supplies if needed
I was disappointed.
4.0It was clean.
− The fact that in four days I had no interaction with any member of staff, despite signs saying that Reception would be open, it wasn’t. There was a lot of literature saying what we mustn’t do, but very little to help with the stay (it didn’t even mention the pool). Noise from the main road.
