Lovely, comfortable place in a great location – perfect for a short Oxford visit
8.0We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. The three-bed room was a good size and perfectly adequate for our stay. The room and bathroom were very clean and nicely updated. The shower was excellent and a real highlight.
− The only thing we missed was air conditioning. As the weather was quite warm during our stay, the room became a little warm during the day. Opening the windows was mainly possible at night.
Convenient Stay Within Walking Distance of Oxford City Centre
10.0We had a pleasant stay and found the location very convenient. The property is easy to reach from the train station by bus, with a bus stop located right in front of the house. The host was very accommodating and allowed us to store our luggage both before check-in and after check-out, which made our visit much easier. Our room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, we had to leave at 7:00 AM, just as breakfast service began, so we didn't have the opportunity to try it. The property is about a 10-minute walk from Oxford city centre, making it a great base for exploring the city. Overall, it was a convenient and enjoyable place to stay.

If I have a chance to return to Oxford, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Sportsview again.
7.0The room was fine, and the location of the Guest House was really nice with regard to being able to access the sites downtown. The front desk personnel were really friendly and willing to solve any issues. One gave us a great heads-up on a pub at which to eat dinner.
− Unfortunately, we arrived during the heat wave that hit England in July. Outside temps were easily 95 degrees Fahrenheit or more. The Guest House has no air-conditioning in the rooms, so sleeping was difficult, even with a floor fan.
