8.0Thank god for the air con. It was fine. Saw nobody. All boxes for keys. Room was a bit dusty but all was fine and fab new en-suite. Thai restaurant is a must
A really good place to stay in Newport, and ideal if travelling by bus. Would definitely return.
9.0An excellent location overlooking St Thomas Minster with a pub over the road and easy walking access to the bus station and the town centre. We were met by friendly staff to help us check in. A good breakfast was available at The Wheatsheaf over the road, with gluten free options available. There was also a discount at the Thai Restaurant below the rooms - again with gluten free options. the room was a good size, well equipped and comfortable.
− There were a lot of noisy seagulls in the square outside, even at night, and some noise at closing time from people passing through. Given the location this was not a surprise.
