8.0If you like solitude and nature, Big Intervale will give you that! The property is beautiful and off the beaten path. There are no services nearby so if you’re visiting off season, be sure to gas up and bring your toothbrush and snacks. It’s a good 20-30 minutes on a dirt road to get in or out of the cabins. The owners were welcoming and accommodating.

10.0This little spot has a view that you can’t put a price on when the stars come out. No light/city pollution, quiet , alongside a beautiful river. The road is a little questionable getting there if you are not an off road type, but I assure you, trust the journey. It’s worth it !

10.0This is a beautiful hideaway in the middle of northern Cape Breton. The owners are so welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. We arrived on ADV motorcycles looking to explore the interior and were not disappointed. The food at the restaurant was also a highlight.
