− The water pressure from the shower

4.0We were there for a marathon and it was close to the start.
− The place is a bit rundown and dated. When we checked in there was total confusion on who we were and Machadadorp is falling apart as a whole. We didn't have any warm water and there were roosters crowing from 2am onwards.
Pleasant, homely and cheerful hosts.

− The road leading up to the residence, but that's mostly the municipality's responsibility.

Pleasant stay
8.0The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Samson the caretaker was very efficient and helpful. He also provided an excellent breakfast. I would recommend staying here if you are in transit, however if wanting to tour the area there are probably more picturesque places that would enable you to walk from your accommodation.
