とっても癒されました。気持ちがいい空気感
8.0和室がとっても落ち着きました。共用のお風呂は時間制限があるものの貸切りなので、ゆっくりと入れます。熱めで気持ちよかったです。お部屋は、ごちゃごちゃと装飾された癒しではなく、シンプルな老舗旅館といった感じがとっても魅力的でした。蔵造りの街並みもすぐ近くで、ロケーションが最高です。川越の魅力を存分に味わうには最適な立地かと。また伺いたいです。
− 靴をフロントで脱いで、置きっぱなしスタイルなので、気になる方は気になるかも。冷蔵庫は小さめ。飲み物、食べ物買いすぎ注意…。

Ask for a room with private toilet
8.0Excellent location near central restaurants and shops with free car parking right in front of the ryokan. Free coffee, water and tea available in the lobby. Liked having a private bath time but wish we could go twice. Good breakfast!
− I didn’t realize the room I booked did not have a toilet. In Japan, our past experience was that ryokans did not commonly have showers or bathtubs in the room but they at least had a toilet and sink. I assumed this was the case but I was wrong. Luckily, I was able to pay to upgrade our room to one with a toilet but looking back at the price we paid, I don’t feel like this ryokan was a great value. Kawagoe is very quiet at night. Most shops and restaurants close by 5 or 6pm.
