8.0Nice big triple room at a good price, the helpful lady on arrival let me check in early which was very much appreciated, the room itself was clean/tidy and very comfortable, it even had a fan to cool me down if I got hot, the shower worked ok but slightly under the pressure I prefer for a shower but it does the job, I will say the drainage of the shower needs looking at I was standing in a puddle by the time I finished my shower, the room view wasn't great but that wasn't a problem as I wasn't looking for that, the hotel lift appears to be out of use with signs reminding you not to use which can be a problem if your carrying heavy bags and luggage up the narrow stairways, the overall decor of the hotel is in need of some updating but the room I had was more then suitable, I would stay here again when I visit Eastbourne should they have the right price and availability.
