Very disappointed with my experience at the Norwalk Inn

It was close to the Norwalk drag strip.

− This was my first time staying the night in the Norwalk Inn, my room was upstairs and even with the air conditioner fan running on high it couldn’t keep the temperature of the room remotely cool. The refrigerator needed defrosted and someone left food in there and couldn’t even guess how long it’s been in there. T.V. Turned on but you couldn’t get any channels, bathtub/shower was dirty and still had body hair in it, sink had a lot rust showing by the drain and no towels. My friend and I went to Walmart to buy bleach, rubber gloves, scrub brush, Lysol, antibacterial bathroom cleaner, a box fan, and 2 full sets of towels, spent $85.00 to clean the bathroom and Lysol the pillows and sheets just to be safe. This room was $217.00 dollars and I spent another $85.00 to clean it just to be able to take a shower and with the box fan on high made the room temperature bearable and around 3 A.M. the room temperature was good. The furniture in my room was old and outdated. From my experience at the Norwalk Inn I would Not recommend staying here.

− The bathtub was so filthy I couldn't use it. No internet no TV. Not worth the money I spent

− Had to go to the main desk for towels, soap, etc.

It was very affordable and not too far from the convention center

− The room was not very clean, and the room wasn't properly soundproof so I kept getting waken up by loud noises outside.

Rooms rented worked for the purpose of the stay attending an event at the local fair groups.

The location

− The wires hanging on the wall from the TV, refrigerator, and coffee pot were outdated and I would say a fire hazard . The refrigerator was dirty both inside and out. The rooms I rented had no pillow cases and only one top sheet, which wouldn’t stay on the water protection sheet, making it feel like I was stuck to the sheet.

Would not refund me. I walked in and walked out because it was smelly and dirty

− Nice area but smelled bad and room was damaged. The tables and walls were marked up and dirty. The bed smelled musty and you could tell an animal had been locked in the bathroom and scratched the door up.
