10.0Wunderbares Haus mit nur 4 Zimmern direkt am Strand, ruhig und nicht im trubligen Zentrum von Hikkaduwa. Sehr herzliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber, wunderbares Frühstück und ausgezeichnetes Nachtessen. Absolut zu empfehlen.

A nightmare !

− I’m leaving a review here that differs from what I’ve read elsewhere, but unfortunately, it’s all too true. From the moment I arrived, I didn’t feel comfortable and told them I didn’t want to stay. The manager was initially insistent and asked me to pay, claiming I wouldn’t find anything better in the area. Then he understood my discomfort and said it would be no problem to work something out and issue a refund. We waited. He lied to us. Later that day, Booking told me I could file a refund request and that only the manager could decide. Booking didn’t put up any obstacles. I followed the process, but the manager remains silent. As of now, we’ve had to find another option, and he’s keeping the payment for the two nights. So dishonest !!! I certainly can NOT recommend this establishment to you. Finally, I don't think the hotel is very high-quality: the furniture is quite outdated, and the pool isn't very attractive, with lounge chairs that have seen better days. The upstairs rooms have a terrace but no living area. The beach is pretty, but swimming there is out of the question—no one would dare go in because the water is so rough. There are no good restaurants or bars nearby. Opt for a more central location, such as Soorya Kala, which is a truly beautiful property.
