10.0We had a wonderful week long stay at the Four Seasons. It is a perfect place to base yourself and then explore with day trips to other areas. The concierge was very very helpful prior to the trip! They organized lots of tours and activities for us and everything was amazing. The hotel is beautiful, well located but out of the busiest areas. We stayed in a one bedroom residence room and it was great for a family and came with lots of extras(mini bar, ironing, transfers). The room overlooked the pond which is the centerpiece of the hotel. Just gorgeous and calming!! Breakfast was amazing. I'd book this hotel again and again. The hotel is full of Americans and tour groups but even with that it felt like our home away from home in Japan.
Four Seasons Consistency in Kyoto
10.0We stayed there for 3 nights in 2 rooms, we had a large suite and a regular room. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The property and grounds are scenic and pretty. The staff is attentive, no complaints. My kids loved feeding the koi and ducks. We used the pool 2x, it was nice. It’s a far drive to the bamboo forest and monkey park. The geisha district is about 10 minutes by car depending on traffic. The breakfast was good. Try to get a table outside. We would stay here again.
