We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is incredibly beautiful and scenic, with stunning ocean views and lush tropical greenery everywhere. At night, the sounds of nature were simply magical, falling asleep to those natural melodies was such a special experience! The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and a large bathroom. Everything we needed was provided, and we felt right at home! The host was amazing, so kind and welcoming. She let us know as soon as the volcano started erupting, and thanks to her we were able to witness it ourselves. That became one of the most unforgettable moments of our trip!

Mitten in der Natur integrierte Bungalows ( das hatten wir gebucht gehabt) mit herrlichem Ausblick und Parkplatz vor der Haustür. Danke für das einheimische Obst, das für uns Touristen täglich zur Verfügung stand.

Manana felt more like a cozy family home than a traditional accommodation, which made our stay especially warm and memorable. Sadly, we didn’t have enough time to fully enjoy all the fruits growing in the garden. We did, however, get to taste the lychees and the little bananas left at the entrance for guests—a lovely and thoughtful touch. Another highlight was the many cats roaming the property. They were incredibly friendly, affectionate, and added even more charm to the place. If you’re looking for an authentic, welcoming stay with a true local feel, this is a wonderful choice.

Super comfortable and clean resort style accommodations. The hosts were very friendly and flexible.

The facilities and the grounds are amazing. The main house (common area) has everything you need for cooking and even light entertaining. The guest rooms were spacious and made for a very comfortable 5-day stay.

− It's about a 20 minute drive to Hilo and a gas station so you need to be prepared to take care of several errands if you head into town.

The property was great and very spacious. It's a plantation with many orchards and a great view into the backyard on to the ocean.

− It's definitely worth knowing that there are A LOT of cats - especially for those who don't like cats or are allergic to them. For us this would be the only reason why we wouldn't recommend this place unconditionally to other people - unless you're a BIG cat lover. (around 5 cats who hang out by the apartments permanently, also come to the "private" terrace. even more cats, around 20 I think at the host's place)
