Pallagino Guest House

Guest house within walking distance to beach.

This felt more as a home stay than a guest house. We had our own small room with bathroom and a balcony, called junior suite. The family was really helpful in arranging various excursions. If you wanted information though, you had to ask for it. The house is situated 5 min walking distance from a nice beach. Restaurants can be found within walking distance also but maybe 10 min. The house also has a pool which we never used because the water looked slightly murky and the the closeness to the beach.

A place were you definitively find friends!

Unfortunately, we did not stay long at Pallagino Guest House. Because of a double booking by hotels.com, there was no room left, what we found out upon arrival in the late afternoon. As we had arrived during the high holiday season, we then had problems with finding an alternative accommodation. Sandy and her family called their friends and other guesthouses in the nearby. Even other guests of Pallagino were helping us and taking part on our situation. In the end we finally found a hotel were we could stay. Thank you so much for such an enourmeous support and the short but pleasant stay at your place!

Friendly and quiet guesthouse in Bain Boeuf

Very friendly and helpful owners. The guesthouse has moved from Flic En Flac to Bain Boeuf. That should be fixed on hotels.com, so people don't book a stay in the wrong part of the islad. We felt at home here. It's a short 5min walk to the nearest beach, and there is one more beach about 25min walk + short bus ride to Grand Baie. This guesthouse is a great place to stay for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Raj, the owner, does great trips around the island. A must during a stay in Mauritius.
