9.0Nice breakfast, powerful shower, great surroundings, outside of hotel as well (trekking paths nearby). A great staff. The garden is stunning.
− Pool could have been cleaner, and the guesthouse had a sign at the door saying that " alcohol is strictly prohibited" that being in wine country kinda surprised me

− Frühstücks Angebot etwas einseitig und sperlich. Pool Arial empfand ich nicht einladend es war nicht gemütlich zum ruhen.
Disappointing overall but great staff, excellent cleanliness and comfortable rooms.
6.0The staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was nice and the rooms were large and immaculately clean. Comfortable beds and a very good value laundry service. It is also a great location in the heart of Constantia. The gardens were well kept.
− Unfortunately the pool area is in poor repair, the pool itself needs refurbishing and although the pool guy tried to keep it clean it was surrounded by trees so constantly had leaves and tree debris in it. Also the surroundings were very dusty and not cleaned during our 3 week stay. One of the problems was the huge building site next door. We were not informed of this before our stay so noise and dust were a constant Monday to Friday from 7.30am until 6pm. There were also 2 private events during our stay which meant the garden and pool area were out of bounds for us guest house residents for the entire day and evening on a consecutive Friday and Saturday. The weddings were very noisy with one in particular being very loud until midnight. Again, we had not been informed in advance. The communal areas felt very tired and a bit neglected. Even our room balcony was surrounded by dying plants and was obviously very noisy and dusty due the building work next door.
