10.0The Glencarrig B&B was the perfect place to stay! Our room was comfortable and we utilized the guest lounge and game room. The entire place was clean and quaint. Mary is a wonderful host with a true gift in hospitality. She cooked a delicious Irish breakfast showcasing her own jams and was quick to answers every question we had while giving us great recommendations for food and things to do. We listened to Mary’s recommendation to drive a nearby portion of the Wild Atlantic Coast and it was a highlight of our whole trip!

10.0Part of the charm of this great B&B is finding and getting to it. The road gets narrower and narrower, and you are very aware of the charms of rural Ireland. The B&B was well maintained and clean. There is a den downstairs and access to an outdoor space, but we did not use during stay. Our room was basic but very comfortable, spacious enough for two beds, and had a lovely view. The innkeeper is a wonderful hostess and baker. Our made to order breakfast was delicious and more than generously sized. We were even sent on our way with buttered and wrapped scones for the road.
