Lovely short break.
10.0Janet and Vincent were excellent hosts and breakfast was delicious. The property is located in easy walking distance to the town, Priory, castle ruins, river and mariner and plenty of restaurants. Lots of other beaches and walks are a short drive away. Hengistbury Head and Mudeford Quay are definitely worth a visit.

10.0We had a weekend break at Stour House recently. The entire place is clean and fresh. Jan and Vince are friendly, accommodating hosts and also were able to advise on days out in the local area. We felt confident with their covid arrangements. The breakfast is wonderful with fresh ingredients including homemade muslie, fresh fruit salad and good coffee along with a generous portion of cooked full English. Our good sized room was at the back overlooking the garden & was very quiet,decent sized bathroom with a bath and strong, hot shower. We would recommend Stour House as a good base for exploring the area - the town and seaside are within walking distance & many other places to explore are within a short drive. All in all a very pleasant weekend.
