Great motel in a small Northland town.
9.0Hobson's choice a British idiom as I learned. Indeed. This is the only reasonable motel in this price range. And it is perfect. Fully renovated rooms, fully equipped kitchen, heat pump +extra heaters, comfy beds with heaters,, TV with subscription (not just the display and bring your own paid channels). I had no issue to mention here....
− Missing insulation between the entrance door and the floor, but this is the only gap to close...
We had a good stay of 2 nights,only booked in for one,,and BTW,the Thai Restaurant up town is excell
8.0My mate and I were expecting a 2 room motel room,this was more like a small house. Great for a family ,easily sleep 5,full kitchen,large fridge a patio and pool. Beds were comfy,electric blankets,wardrobe,oh,and must not forget the coffee plunger,although they probably need to replace it. Good hot shower.Helful staff,convenient location.
− Not a lot to criticise TBH, as above the coffee plunger is a bit tired but better than none, water pressure in handbasin in bathroom is poor,but manageable
Good Place
8.0Older style motel on the fringes of Dargaville which has been maintained well so is a good option if overnighting or staying longer. Rooms are clean and comfortable and plenty of hot water. The nearest supermarket is Woolworths which is about a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk away. Parking is directly outside the unit. Would stay again.
