For Me, Good For One Night
7.0The room was very comfortable, quiet, and spacious, and generally well-appointed. The location was nice up in the hills. The food at dinner and breakfast was good, too.
− The location was probably a little isolated for me as a single traveller. Also, the booking.com confirmation and subsequent communication with hotel staff, prior to my stay, stated that credit cards were not accepted. Yet, I saw other guests paying by credit card; I don't like to carry cash. The property doesn't have a dedicated bar, nor full-time restaurant. The dining room is small, and is really only open during breakfast and dinner and both meals are buffet-style. There is no gym. Lastly, it was very dark at night, walking from room 308 to the dining room.

8.0Very nice place, with good food. But very expensive, particularly by Bhutanese standards. There's another place with a fantastic view directly overlooking the Punakha Zhong that is included in the package tour prices, so you don't have to pay extra.

10.0The view from the property can only be described as AMAZING. The surrounding environment was so peaceful and tranquil. The daily evening performance by the staff made us feel so welcomed. The restaurant staff were attentive and friendly. However, I cannot say the same of the staff at the check in counter. It was a pity that they were not warm or friendly.
