6.0The owners were lovely & very quick to help when needed. The lamp was missing the button to turn it on & the owner was quick to get one. There was no TV remote & the owners son came by with a brand new one & programmed it. There are only a few channels available. The motel is off the main highway so is very quiet. It is walking distance to restaurants, stores, sightseeing. It is under new owners from when we last stayed there & upgrading seems to be in progress. The property does not have staff at night. We would like to have at least one staff member there overnight as the motel is not visible from other businesses, homes, etc. -Parking area is well lit. -To check in we had to phone someone to meet us as they were busy off the property. -The room is dark & really needs a central light or higher wattage bulbs/more lamps. Painting the walls white might help. -Deadbolts on the doors would be a good idea as the rooms open to the courtyard. -The floor tiles were lifting & need replacing. -The bathroom was clean but the shower drain needs cleaning as it is very slow to drain, the water builds up in the bottom. -The bathroom door & frame need a good cleaning. This may be due to the fact that it is difficult to open so needs to be touched in more places than the handle. -There was coffee & tea available but no whitener, sugar nor anything to stir with so we could not use the drinks. We did not realize this until after the owners had left the property & didn't want to phone again.
