9.0We ended up staying at Plett Beachfront's Sister Hotel, Barrington's Small Hotel. Because of electrical issues after renovations. They communicated it well before the time. Nagel Amos gave us an upgrade at Barrington's Small Hotel. So we didn't end up at Plett Beachfront Hotel, but their sister Hotel. We were perfectly happy with the switch, because the moment we stepped into the hallway of the hotel, it felt great. At Barrington's Small Hotel. We loved the room, felt stylish and posh, even though it was a small boutique hotel. Their restaurants and bar downstairs were all exquisite, fireplaces, ambience, decor, look and feel, breakfasts were delicious, generous and amazing. Their cakes and confectionery amazing. Gardens, landscaping and a stream beyond the Deli. We had their lamb curry special one of the evenings, and it was amazing at the fireplace. Staff very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Loved sitting in the lounge area without shoes (in my socks), while on my laptop. The beer tasting, the night cap glass of wine was a great touch to end each evening.
− Something I did ask about to the staff, about having a microwave to warm milk for hot beverages like hot chocolate and milo, to have it close by, in the room, or somewhere closer, than to have to go downstairs to ask them to warm milk. The answer was to avoid attracting pests like cockroaches to the upstairs area where the rooms and lounge are. Which is to me understandable. But it would be nice to have access to a warmer, that can heat up milk, and food. So it is more of suggestion.

7.0Location is great, staff were helpful on check in and breakfast was nice - and the view from the common area is spectulr.
− Rooms are pretty basic more Formule 1 than hilton. Staff off from 6 pm and no way to contact them made us nervous of a problem with the keys... Not much storage space for clothes
