− Our original room was not good. Room 202 & 302 had the shower separate to rest of bathroom and just inside the door to the room. It was very impractical and dreadful. The rest of the room was fine. I complained to staff the next day and they agreed the design was dreadful. To their credit they upgraded us to a much better room which was also much bigger. They were very understanding. It wasn’t the room size that was the issue it was having just a shower in a hallway.

10.0We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was very clean, beautifully designed, and had such a pleasant atmosphere. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very quiet, even though the location is excellent and close to everything. The staff were lovely, helpful and welcoming, and we really appreciated the room upgrade. Breakfast was excellent as well. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and would happily come back.

10.0Our family had an awesome time at the Martis Palace hotel in Rome. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We got to the hotel at about 8am after the red eye from the US. They immediately took our bags, sat us in their beautiful sitting room and brought us coffee and pastries (without us even asking) while we were waiting to check in. The staff at breakfast was amazing. After the first day, they knew my whole family’s preference on coffee, yogurt, etc. The woman at the front desk (I am so sorry I didn’t get her name - long straight dark hair) was amazingly friendly and helpful. Just an overall great experience.
