Very comfortable stay in the heart of Southwold
9.0The hotel is situated on the High street in the centre of Southwold. Parking is available at the rear of the hotel and we managed to find a space each day we were there. Bedroom was light and airy with 2 very comfortable easy chairs in the room which was a bonus. We spent quite a lot of time in the evenings with a drink watching the World Cup or Wimbledon in the comfort of our bedroom!! Breakfast is served to order and was delicious. Varied choice including full English or several other options all made to order.
− There is no lift in the hotel and the stairs are very steep so its not good for people with limited mobility. We ate in the restaurant on one evening but were not impressed. Overly priced for fairly mediocre food.
