Ulundi bush lodge

8.0

Lovely bush experience only just outside Ulundi. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We could here the singing from the local church service whilst in the garden. Sounded beautiful!

Great fun place to stay

10.0

This was a great place to stay; the hut/chalets are very well fitted out, everything is spotlessly clean and the communal areas well set out. The garden areas arround the accommodation is really well done and gives the place a lush feel. The staff, service and food all very good + a well stocked bar is available. There are a few quirks but nothing that really detracts e.g. the room TV only shows whatever DStv is selected in the main building. We would certainly book again. Whilsy you are there take a look around the adjacent museum - an interesting place.

Unwelcoming, to be avoided

2.0

Low end accommodation, with the owner being very unwelcoming and unfriendly. Very unwilling to help or to accommodate our wishes. Place is to be avoided.

nice and quiet

10.0

The price for 2 people sharing the room is R945 which include breakfast and dinner. It is really a good bargain. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The dinner is delicious, homemade apple pie and ice cream is a wonderful surprised! It is only 5 km away from the Zulu Land Ultra marathon starting line and we have special request for breakfast before 5am, the staff prepare our breakfast a night before and wrap them up. When I saw the breakfast bag I was full with joy! 2 sandwiches, 2 eggs, 2 apples, yogurt and juice. it is more than enough for me to eat for breakfast and after race as well. ^^
