The best stay I've ever had , in any hotel, anywhere ; and I've been using Hotels for 30 Years.
10.0Everything , particularly the staff led by Lorna, who work as a friendly efficient team ; they set the friendly vibe that permeates the whole place. The food was excellent , in addition to the excellent fare on the main menu, there was also an authentic curry ( made by Indian Chefs ) , which my wife (who is Indian) enjoyed , which says it all. The Bar is a very friendly welcoming place, frequented by locals and tourists alike, be sure to book a table in the bar and restaurant in advance to avoid disappointment...
− I didn't have any complaints.Do bear in mind this an older building; the only small issue was the wifi signal in Room Ten kept dropping on our second day, fortunately the staff immediately set about sorting it out, as soon as I reported it. Probably needs a repeater on the other side of the building.

− For a dog friendly hotel - it lacks - you can’t take your dog into the bar - or the lounge - and you can’t eat in the restaurant either - so you are down into the basement to get to a lacklustre conservatory to eat … means you miss out on on some of the charm of the place

8.0Tolles Frühstück, sehr schöner gemütlicher Pub, nettes Personal. Leider auch sehr viel Betrieb. Wir hätten gerne öfters dort gegessen, haben es aber zu "normalen" Uhrzeiten nicht geschafft einen Tisch im Restaurant zu reservieren. Am letzten Abend haben wir nur noch einen kleinen Tisch direkt am Eingang des Pubs bekommen. Das Essen jedoch war super lecker!!
− Unser Zimmer war leider recht klein und für unser Gepäck (auf zweiwöchiger Rundreise durch Schottland, nicht gerade wenig) war wenig Platz. Dafür war die Aussicht aus dem Fenster direkt auf das Meer schön.
