Fabulous place to stay
10.0Stayed here overnight on our way to Venice. First rate welcome from Michele and a decent travelodge room. Ordered Pizza expecting normal kind of oven heated fare but got a first class pizza, proper Italian pizza (we should know our daughter and son in law own a Pizzaria) . It was delivered with a friendly smile and lovely chat from Graham, who cooked it. Totally unexpected quality of food and service. Travelodge deserve a pat on the back for employing these two exceptional members of staff. Really set us up for our holiday. Staff are everything in terms of hospitality!

2.0Honestly what a shock to see the clientele housed here. Smell of cigarette smoke in foyer and room was unacceptable. Packs of men hanging around late at night left me feeling unsafe. Language from resident guests at breakfast unacceptable. Poor staff doing their best to cover up the situation.
Step up Travelodge
2.0Not a good impression when we walked through the door. Very strong smell cigarette smoke in the foyer which was over run with men hanging around. The first room we refused as it was smelling of stale cigarette smoke. We were given another room which was better, staff were helpful and offered a free breakfast. I was a bit unsure and uncomfortable at the clientele hovering around inside and outside the building . Sadly I won’t return due to guests that are housed there, one commented it wasn’t her choice to be there. As a paying customer it was my choice which unfortunately won’t be repeated.
Great value and friendly staff
10.0Right from arrival we were made to feel most welcome. The team were friendly, helpful and efficient, nothing too much bother. We were only sorry our visit lasted just one night. Food was very nice, beer cold and a good nights rest, nice vibe to the hotel.
