Superb stay in a quaint rural setting.
9.0Excellent accommodation, very spacious and high ceilings added to the overall enjoyment of staying here. I was only there for one night but I would definitely return. I stayed in Room 16 which was just off the beer garden and felt like a self contained unit minus the kitchen. Very spacious which helped the feeling of calm. Exceptionally clean and a bonus was the fantastic air conditioning which was great because I was staying when the temperature was tipping the 30° mark outside. The facilities allowed for disabled access and usage and the wet room was excellent. With all the amenities You could want and even a private outside sitting area, table and 2 chairs. A fridge is provided with some milk and spring water already inside... The staff were very friendly and polite and the Inn was set in a village with lovely surroundings and the village was well maintained, a true delight. With plenty of nice walks to be had in and around the area and various wildlife as well from Horses to Deer and even Buzzards in the sky, this certainly added positively to my stay. I had a nice evening meal when I returned from my walk and after a very comfortable night's sleep, the breakfast the following morning was outstanding. I would certainly like to return again and maybe stay a while longer next time, as this occasion was for just one night.
− This is not really a dislike, just a small point to note is that The Frocester Inn is located on quite a busy 5 way junction and although there is a 30mph speed limit, any drivers just be prepared, as you will need to pay that bit more attention when negotiating it.
