Genuine Pub Grub and Good Staff.
10.0Fantastic country pub with huge portions and wonderfully helpful and attentive staff. The food is made with proper care and attention and the atmosphere is proper English pub with character and style. Special shout out to Tracy who always welcomes me and my family with a genuine warmth. Pop in if you’re in the area and enjoy good ale and hearty food.
Wonderful experience
10.0On a cold and wet February night to find the Four Horseshoes was a real treat. Loved this beautiful building and inside it was cosy and welcoming. Seated next to the indoor ‘well’ we enjoyed a delicious dinner. Best roast dinner I’ve had out in a long time. Very friendly team of staff who never rushed us and were very attentive. Will definitely return when back in this lovely county.

Excellent visit to a lovely establishment
10.0Visited end December 2025 with family for a very enjoyable Sunday lunch. Excellent choice of vegetables to accompany delicious roast beef for some and roast pork for others. Excellent service and enchanting location. My grandson was fascinated by the well within the restaurant/pub.

10.0Lovely country pub. Great food warm and friendly. Our waitress Tracy was helpful and kind with good advice on wine. We traveled to meet family whom also enjoyed the rustic ambiance of the pub

10.0Seriously “olde” pub, dates back to 1150. Beer always excellent. Haven’t eaten here but food looks very appetising. Clean & well-appointed.
