5.0Very affordable and location is amazing but the bathroom was dirty.

− One headboard was broken laying on the floor, the other headboard had bodily fluids on it. The sheets on both beds were stained and when I asked for more the manager accused me of sneaking people in and invited himself into my room to make sure I wasn't.

9.0Within walking distance to friends we were visiting. Only a couple blocks away. Also close to the band shell and pier area and downtown. Perfect location!
− The air conditioner was a bit noisy, but then I live in the country where it's very quiet so that's what I have to compare with. Didn't notice any noise from Ludington Avenue at all. Breakfast was a little skimpy but it was enough to start the day with. Some individual containers of yogurt would be a bice addition.
Complaints aside, this is THE place to stay on a budget.
6.0The location was phenomenal. Only two blocks from both the beach and lake but also next to a beautiful park and a block from downtown. From this location, all the shops downtown are incredibly walkable.
− There was technically a microwave that I had to carry across the room to use and plug in between the beds, but plugs were limited as a screw was going through the ground wire to hold the power strip to the wall. The other plug has a broken faceplate that pushed out anything that got plugged in. There was a lot of wall damage (mostly cosmetic; peeling paint or unfinished drywall repair), but that's nothing to worry about.
