8.0Un peu d'Angleterre à Savigny-le-vieux. Mes hôtes étaient attentifs à mes attentes et serviables, mais aussi très agréables. J'y suis resté presqu'une semaine et je ne regrette pas mon passage dans cette petite Angleterre.
Excellent stay
10.0We spent 3 days in the "cowshed" room at Le Bois Gautier. The accommodation was very spacious with a full kitchen and a large bedroom and bathroom upstairs. We received a warm welcome from the new owner Bill who had prepared a log fire for our arrival, this made the accommodation very cosy and was a great touch. Bill had also brought some snacks/breakfast for us. The place was gorgeous, and very quiet, being in the middle of the countryside. It is located about 30 min drive from the scenic town of Fougères, and 10min from St Hilaire du Harcouët with its restaurants, shops and bakeries. "The cowshed" has a step to get into the accommodation and stairs with steps a bit narrower than standard, si out would not be recommended for people with mobility issue. But there are other accommodations in Le Bois Gautier that may be more suitable. We will definitely go back!
