There is a huge amount of things to like about the Alena, including the awesome villa, high quality of food and the peaceful location. However most importantly was the welcome, service and hospitality levels from the Alena team, from everyone from reception to the restaurant. I would highly recommend as a place to stay - a true 10/10.

Die Hotelanlage ist ein wunderschönes, sehr gepflegtes grünes Paradies, in dem man wunderbar entspannen und sich bestens erholen kann. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit – in dieser Form haben wir das bisher nirgendwo sonst auf der Welt erlebt. Das Essen ist super lecker und der Spa-Bereich mit seinen vielfältigen Massageangeboten überzeugt durch Professionalität und Qualität. Besonders in Erinnerung bleiben uns auch die vom Hotel angebotenen Halb- und Ganztagestouren, die individuell gebucht werden können. Sehr praktisch ist außerdem der Hotel-Shuttle, der mehrmals täglich zwischen dem Hotel und Ubud verkehrt. Ein besonderes Highlight waren für uns die Fahrten mit unserem Fahrer Gusti, der uns mit viel Wissen und Begeisterung die balinesische Kultur sowie hinduistische Riten und Bräuche nähergebracht hat. Auf diesem Wege möchten wir uns noch einmal ganz herzlich beim gesamten Resort-Team für diese wunderbare Erfahrung bedanken. Wir werden unseren Aufenthalt in bester Erinnerung behalten und können dieses Resort vorbehaltlos empfehlen.

So much to say: Resort: This is one of the most beautiful resorts we've been to. It's immersed in nature. It is well maintained, and clean. There are several pools available to use. There is also a spa and a small gym, sufficient enought to use while on vacation. Shout out to Octa and Eva at the spa for the amazing treatments. Accommodation: we stayed in a one bedroom luxury villa with private pool. It was so spacious and felt modern. The bed was large and very comfortable to sleep in. The staff pay attention to every detail. We also appreciated the beautiful flower decorations in the bathtub and on the bed. Restaurant: Food here is really so delicious. We enjoyed the traditional Balinese meals on offer. Our favourite was the Balinesr chicken curry but really, everything was so good. Staff: the staff really go out to make sure you are looked after and that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. And they always do so with a smile on their faces. The hospitality in Asia in general is just beyond compare.

The hospitality was outstanding. The attention to detail and attentive staff made our stay incredibly comfortable and a luxury experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, the mature gardens, pools and rooms are all premium. The staff were so welcoming and helpful in every way. They organised day trips, drivers etc. The restaurant was also very good and we enjoyed the ‘Balinese’ evening. It was a paradise oasis to return to after busy day trips and hustle and bustle of Ubud.
