8.0Typical 19th century inn—creaky floors, no tv’s in rooms—the owner has updated the heating & cooling system so room was comfortable. Only 1 towel per person, and gotta go downstairs for morning coffee.

4.0Quaint, but not functional! While the room itself was fine, the bathroom itself was behind a bifold door with only room to pivot between the shower, toilet and sink. The shower was so tiny and it took 7 minutes to get hot water! It’s also difficult to wash face or brush teeth at the tiny sink without hitting your elbow off the wall. The traffic was loud overnight and despite having the blind down to the windowsill, there was a light outside that was shining brightly all night. We only made it 1 night despite booking for 2 nights. We were miserable!
