Location closer to town Beds ok Ac working

− Got here around 4:10 PM. Nobody at the front desk. No guests or cars anywhere. I walked around to find someone, but nothing... About 15 minutes later, someone finally showed up after I called! He said he has to do everything and can't be at the front desk all the time! The bathroom has an instant water heater, but the water barely trickles out, not enough for a shower. The other two didn't even bother showering because it was so slow... The regular showerhead was missing, and no water came out when I turned it on! The bathroom door is super loud and creaky, so it'll wake you up if someone opens it while you're sleeping, especially at night! *** The next morning, there was no water at all from the pipes! Such a terrible experience... ! When I called, the same guy appeared and said there was general water supply to the area! Then I asked if they had backup tanks... He didn't answer... I was pissed and asked how I was supposed to wash up?! Then he said the room next door had water! I asked how that was possible if there was no water supply?! He was lying! I think he turned off the water to our room on purpose because I told his boss nobody was at the front desk when we arrived... But the next room had good water pressure. I checked, and there wasn't any water issue nearby! The bathroom light was flickering. Inside room has only 2 lights! Not a single light was on at night in the lobby or outside yard (except the water fountain light) when I went to bring something from the vehicle...total darkness...trying to save electricity, but how about safety? Upon departing in the morning, the reception desk was unattended, and I regrettably left the key at the door. I have never encountered such a disappointing experience. Misled by positive reviews from 2017, I reserved this establishment, which was presented as the closest option on the website late in the afternoon. It is, in reality, a dilapidated property relying on outdated feedback.

− I booked Pinidiya Resort Anuradhapura for 1 night (01/11/2024 - 02/11/2024) on Booking.com. Before booking, I called them directly to ask the price of a double room and whether it had two beds. They said they had double rooms with double beds. I ended the call and booked a deluxe triple room for two adults on Booking.com. The listing showed that the room had one double bed, one extra-large double bed, and a free room upgrade available. When I arrived at the hotel, I mentioned that I had booked a room on Booking.com. The owner came over and asked why I booked through Booking.com instead of booking directly with them, as though I had committed a crime. I replied that I am a Genius Level 3 member on Booking.com and have the right to book either through Booking.com or directly—it’s my choice. Then she try to offer me a double room with a 1 bed. Then i said i booked a tripple room for double. Then she asked me why you booked tripple room for 2 adults, I said it is not your business and i need a room as i booked. The owner then said that since I booked through Booking.com, I had to pay $20 for the room. I pointed out that the rate on the booking app was $17 and asked her to verify it. She replied that it was a loss for her. I suggested that if it was a loss, she should increase the prices on Booking.com, to which she replied that Booking.com was not working properly and that they were not answering her calls. I mentioned that I had called them twice and had no issues reaching them.Then i called booking.com,While i am in recording of call after she agreed to provide the room.Then i ended the call, they offered me a room with 2 extra-large double bed, which I believe was the upgrade mentioned on Booking.com. The owner tried to charge me Rs. 310 for one dollar as $17 payment. The actual exchange rate yesterday was Rs. 292.96, so I pointed that out.
