5 star pool and views, Villa needs maintenance.

The enormous 20m x 5m pool and 180° views of the ocean and the morning sunrises were spectacular! For us, that made it a magical 2 night stay. I spent all my time in the pool, it is an infinity pool right on the ocean, in full sun from 6.30am until 3pm....I was in heaven. Nice garden to the side and a fabulous warung right next door, literally 10 metres away serving Indonesian foods only, but everything was well cooked and well presented. Novi, who looks after the villa was so helpful and gave us peace when we wanted it, but was just a whatsapp message away if we needed her. She lives very close, so anything we needed she could help with. The main draw card for me was the pool and the view of the the ocean...I have stayed in dozens of Bali villas over the years and this was a stand out because of the pool and the view. Absolutely superb if you like to swim or even just sunbathe...breathtaking!

− Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the villa. It is very tired looking inside and out and down at heel. It needs serious refurbishment, the glass sliding door from the villa to the outdoor area was so stiff you'd need to be Popeye to open it!..I couldn't do it, my husband had to open it for me!The fittings are old and tatty, there is mold on the walls in one of the bedrooms, paint peeling, roller blinds that are warped, crinkled and tatty...the metal steps leading up to the outdoor balcony were rusted through and held up with rope and concrete blocks. Not safe at all, the balcony rails were very rusty and just made the place look really shabby. .such a shame because with some TLC, it could be a magnificent property. 4 bedrooms, 3 toilets, everything is there, but just not well kept. The whole place is very tired and needs some serious maintenance, I'm sorry to say.🫤 However, knowing all of this, I would book again because the pool and the sea view, are both magnificent. And to be honest, how much time did we spend indoors? None, except to sleep. So, our stay there was good enough to book again.

The place was awesome, with a pool directly at the ocean. The staff was also very friendly. A nice restaurant was just outside the door. And the price was very reasonable given the size of the accomodation. In other countries a similar place would cost a fortune.

− The house would need some fixes as, for example, a tap was leaking and the stairs to the roof top terrace were rusty.

This was the greates holiday place I have ever been. Huge villa suitable for 8 persons. Totally separated from outside. Great place for a paceful vacation. Pool is totally private and big (I would assume 4x20 meters) + extra jacuzzi with hot water. 3 full bathrooms + 1 WC. Big living room and terrace. Moreover something like a tower where you can go and enjoy (on the roof of one of the rooms with 360 view. There is also a small black sand beach just 20 meters from Villa, accessible within 1 minute walk. Infinity pool just on the edge of the ocean. Tasty breakfasts. Really helpful staff. Nice, clean, just great. Restaurant just next door (10 meters), cheap but very good quality. They bring food to villa when you order, you can also eat there

− I do not like that I could not extend my holiday there for another week or 2...

Upea ja rauhallinen sijainti. Kaksi erillistä rakennusta (toinen nuorisolle, toinen vanhemmille). Naapurissa hyvä ravintola.

− Asunnossa pientä kuluneisuutta, joka ei haitannut sinänsä asumismukavuutta, mutta pisti silmään. Pienllä pintaremontilla saisi kohteen todella upeaksi..

The location was idyllic! Beautiful views and quiet, peaceful and friendly village. Accesible and conveniently located while still remote enough to feel relaxed. The beds and living area are comfortable and welcoming! The breakfast was a lovely addition and Novi definitely tried to make us feel welcome. Good size fridge makes self catering easier and the spacious kitchen made meal prep a joy. Really beautiful villa overall!

− The self catering equipment needs to be updated. The pots and pans have definitely seen better days and so we bought our own wok and frying pan. Only 2 large coffee mugs, one of which had a crack and so was unusable. Many plates chipped and stained. Would have been nice to have some sugar and maybe coffee creamer to tide us over for that first morning before we could buy supplies. There were some sugar sachets from the second day onwards but we had already bought sugar. The toilet in the suite was leaking, and the seat is a bit broken. A little TLC is required to update some of the utensils and facilities. A cupboard in the suite would be handy.
