Above & Beyond - We Can’t Wait to Return!
10.0Our stay at Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club exceeded every expectation and was truly one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. The level of service was exceptional - not because it felt scripted, but because every interaction felt personal, thoughtful, and sincere. Whether we were at the pool, dining on property, or simply passing through the lobby, the staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. What made our stay especially unforgettable were the thoughtful touches to celebrate our birthdays. The team found multiple ways to make us feel special, and those gestures meant so much to our family. The true testament to Four Seasons’ hospitality came on the day of our departure when our flight home was severely delayed. Rather than simply wishing us luck, the team graciously offered us a complimentary cabana so we could continue enjoying the property comfortably while we waited. It completely transformed what could have been a stressful end to our trip into one last relaxing afternoon in paradise. The property itself is stunning, but it’s the people who make it extraordinary. Their warmth, generosity, and attention to detail created an experience we won’t soon forget. Thank you to everyone at The Surf Club for making our stay so special. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to our next visit.
Fantastic stay, resort, and service
10.0We had an outstanding stay at the Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club with our son. The service was excellent from start to finish — from the initial valet greeting all the way through departure and checkout. Even measured against the typically very high Four Seasons standards, the team here operates at the highest level. Everything felt smooth, attentive, and genuinely well-executed. The pool setup is terrific. We reserved a private cabana for one of the days and it was absolutely worth it — comfortable, well-serviced, and a great way to relax. The overall pool environment strikes a really nice balance between calm and family-friendly, similar to what we experienced at other top-tier Four Seasons properties. Our room was spectacular — spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. In-room dining was another highlight: the food was phenomenal, perfectly cooked, and delivered professionally and promptly. It consistently exceeded expectations for hotel dining. The beach is a bit on the smaller side, and while it is carefully maintained (they rake it each morning), by the afternoon some seaweed had blown in. That said, it didn’t take away too much from the overall experience, which was otherwise excellent. Having recently stayed at another Four Seasons property on the same trip, what stood out here was the consistency and polish across every touchpoint — service, food, facilities, and overall execution. It made for a very easy, enjoyable stay. Checking out, it occurred to me that I literally could not think of a thing that was not perfectly handled. Overall, this is a top-tier property with outstanding service and a very refined experience.
Only spot to stay in Miami with 5 star service
10.0This is our 2nd time at Surfside. We love the location as it is away from the fray of South Beach and has all the elegance and level of service one hopes at a Four Seasons. It is a beautiful hotel with gorgeous common areas. Multiple pools and spots to eat through out the day. If you plan to eat at the adjoining restaurant Surf Club make a reservation. They are not part of the Four Seasons in that you can expect a table as a guest and you are not able to charge to the room. The bar there is very small and we did not have luck getting a bar seat or table. The service there was a bit rude unlike the Four Seasons. You get what you pay for here. Shout out to Sophie Gaitch who quickly rectified an issue with house keeping. It was so refreshing to not have to ask for amazing service or an apology - it was swiftly rectified. So rare these days. We will be back anytime we are in Miami.
A Perfect balance: sophisticated yet relaxed, exclusive yet welcoming
10.0The Four Seasons Surf Club is the only reason I visit Miami. In a city known for its energy and crowds, this property offers a private, tranquil pocket that feels like a world away—yet remains close enough to explore everything the area has to offer. The hotel's size is ideal if you prefer an elevated exclusive feel. With under 80 rooms, the property never feels crowded. There's always plenty of space at the pool or on the beach, creating an uncrowded atmosphere. The five-star service here ranks among my top three hotel experiences in the last year. Starting the day with breakfast service at Lido is a genuine delight, and the staff—particularly Patch at the front desk, who is so sweet—make every interaction feel warm and personal. Between the two on-site restaurants, I highly recommend The Surf Club for dinner—it's exceptional.
Brunch disappointment
4.0Luxury has really gone down the tubes when it comes to etiquette these days. Sunday Brunch at Lido $125 doesn’t come with basic coffee, tea, or orange juice. They want you to pay extra. Money is not the problem here. It’s that a 5 star luxury hotel no longer understands what basic dining etiquette means. Your brunch should include something as basic as “basic coffee/tea”. This is a lack in decency and basic dining etiquette. Charge a higher brunch fee and include the basic coffee/tea if you must but asking to nickel and dime on top for some basic coffee is just cheap. Also didn’t enjoy the experience of sitting in a dark drafty room throughout the whole brunch; and there were barely any pastries. 2 out of 5 for overall dining experience.
