10.0A fantastic stay. Good location, good value, room is fine, everything works. Using the kitchen is a bonus. Charming and welcoming owners. Food and supermarket not far away.

9.0We enjoyed staying at this quirky guest house. We were warmly met by the friendly owner and had plenty of space to hang out for the day we were there, waiting to catch a shuttle to Belize City. I say quirky because in our mini apartment, there was a bed in the kitchen ( as well as our bed in the bedroom), and there is an old US school bus in the garden. But it felt quirky rather than derelict. It's a 5min taxi ride to the bus terminal in town or a 20-minute walk. We chose the Taxi option. It's also close to a good bakery, and you can see the supermarket from the hammocks in the garden. There is a fabulous restaurant called Hambre which is a 20 min walk.
− There was nothing we didn't like, but this place will not appeal to everyone. It feels local, and maybe a little dated, but it was spacious, safe, and clean, and everything we needed.
Inexpensive place to stay.
7.0We needed a clean place to just sleep for one night while travelling through Belize. Place wasn't fancy, but was clean, had coffee & supplies of sugar creamer to get us going the next morning. There is a great little bakery at the other end of the street. Liked that our car was in a lockup yard for the evening.
− Road outside was a busy and a touch noisy. If the old broken down school bus was removed it would improve first impressions. Hubby says he felt like he was sleeping in a container.
