Very artistic arrangement
8.0It was nice with two floors. Nonetheless the toilet and the bath were on different floors, will be a good exercise to go up and down between toilet and bath/ bedroom. Overall very happy. The host was amazing.

10.0We loved this property. You don't really need to look any further if you are staying Takayama. Being an old shopfront it was quite unique and offered a different experience to regular hotels. Host Taga knows exactly what international guests are looking for. It was very spacious and had everything we needed. The kids (8 and 3) loved watching movies via the projector. With sleeping and a separate lounge upstairs pretty much have two living areas in this place. When booking we had concern that the stairs may be too dangerous for out three year old, however Taga has a baby gate on hand. Taga was a great host picking us up and dropping us off at the train station, supplying us with fresh bread and drinks in the fridge and also helping us plan our stay. Just book it.
Perfect place to stay.
10.0Tag is a perfect host. The suite is in the perfect location, very close walk to everything. The drinks and warm bread on a rival was wonderful. Pickup and drop off at the train station. Was definitely our favourite place to stay on our trip. I had read about the steep stairs and yes, they are steep. I had my 16 yr old son carry up my suitcase but could have left it on the lower level and just brought up a couple outfits instead. Wasn’t really a problem. Thank you!
