Forest Lodge
9.0RK is an attentive host and very welcoming. Cozy, great location near Sherwood forest.
− Some minor issues. Bathroom needs some shelves for toiletries, a hook on the door for wet towels and extractor fan is noisy. Went for a walk at 845pm, and found pub had closed at 920pm, so early to bed!
Very good value and would stay again if i was in the area.

Thought it was overpriced for the dolls house facilities. Also we didn’t have a room reset at all during our stay apart

− The room was VERY small. And with the “double” bed being against the wall, access in and out for one of us was difficult.

Functional Dog Friendly experience - but not 4 star bedroom
7.0The main building of the hotel itself is very nice - and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very nice.
− The Annex bedroom that was dog friendly was clean and functional but certainly not a 4 star experience. I paid £180 for one night with a dog - which was very expensive in my view. We have stayed in several genuinely luxury rooms with our dog so I know it can be done with pet friendly rooms.
