Over priced and needs a renovation
5.0Breakfast was a traditional Danish spread of bread cheese egg sweets yogurt juice coffee
− Overall maintenance was lacking and needs a refresh of the common areas, indoor and outdoors, on the property. Rooms need new carpet and deep cleaning of tile in bathroom shower areas. Not as expected from a “luxury” boutique hotel that gets so much recognition as being in such a fancy area. A shame to not take more pride in representing a traditional Danish beach hotel and its low key luxury.

Disappointing service despite a beautiful location
2.0− The hotel has a beautiful location and our Junior Suite with Sea View was lovely. Unfortunately, the service did not match the hotel’s reputation or price level. The biggest issue was the restaurant. We repeatedly had to look for staff just to get menus, order food and drinks, ask for water, and pay the bill. Service felt disorganized and inattentive. We had also called ahead to confirm we could have lunch upon arrival and were told a reservation wasn’t necessary, but when we arrived we were informed the restaurant was fully booked. Only after explaining the situation were we given a table. Dinner was equally disappointing. Although we had a reservation, our table was delayed by around 45 minutes, drinks took a long time to arrive, several dishes were unavailable, and the main course wasn’t served until almost two hours after our reservation time. The setting is wonderful, but the service significantly affected our stay. At this price point, we expected a much higher standard of hospitality.

Please be aware that the restaurant is on open for Lunch and Dinner from Thursday to Saturday, and it is needed to book in advance. Sunday to Wednesday it is only possible to buy snacks and drinks.
