10.0La Cuvellerie is a beautiful and comfortable old estate in the quaint village of Narcy, close to the Sancerre wineries. Our host Marc was the kindest man, finding us an open restaurant when we we arrived late in the evening, helping us with our personal needs, even frying us eggs for breakfast. The rooms are quaint and comfortable, showcasing 300 year old construction techniques with hand-hewn beams and dowels. As with any old home, it has its charming ideosyncracies. An excellent breakfast is served in the guest house with plentiful coffee. Two friendly cats share the property. We were the only guests for part of our midweek stay, but by the weekend they had a full house. .

10.0Great owner / Breakfast / Quiet and beautifull location / between Sancerre, Pouilly /Charity (historic ans wine country (Great wine!). Not far from a myst see Guedelon Castle. Guedelon has been build exactly the same way as 800 years ago (totaly amazing and a must see in Europe). La Culvellerie (late 1700) a must stay if you want to go back in time with modern accomodation.
