The place is not fancy, which is fine but you can't charge a ridiculous cleaning fee for a place this outdated and with few to no amenities. I stayed one night and they charged me $125 cleaning fee. The rate to stay for the night was $120. I wasn't even there a full 24 hours. We had to make sure our dishes were washed and take our own trash, which I normally wouldn't fuse but what the hell am i paying $125 for. They don't disclose what the cleaning fee is until you check in. I never would have imagined the cleaning fee would be more than the night stay. I would've never stayed here if I had known that. I don't recommend this renter. They have multiple properties. BEWARE!

Paying for location, not cabin experience.

I recently stayed in this cabin and theres a list of things that need to be improved. I did not receive an email with information about the cabin (wifi password, trash dumpster site, where towels and blankets were located etc.) even after I asked several times. We found out quickly that they did not have a shovel on the property. This was an issue because snow was up to our knees. Water was hot for about 5 minutes, so showering after each other was impossible. The bedding was stained, mattress was old and hard. Furniture was dusty and there was evidence of a large dog living there. I had hives, from dander and dust, being in the home for less than 10 mins and immediately contacted the manager. She confirmed a dog lives in the cabin. the property manager confessed someone stood there prior to my family arriving, without the owners knowledge. So our bedding could have been slept in. There were no extra blankets/pillows. There were people knocking at the door after 10pm & again at 7am asking to park on the property. A man posing as a security guard. Lastly, a man showed up unannounced to do "maintenance". This was the man who occupied the cabin before us. He came to replace the shovel he broke, and 2 hand towels. Manger texts me AFTER he leaves. No heads up. Zero Privacy. We felt very uncomfortable and left early. Despite all of this, we cleaned up after our selves and left the cabin neat. We are good people who had a very bad experience. Offered no compensation.

Close to everything. Very nice view of the lake. I didn't not stay at Wanita's but a hotel partner callend Lagunitas.

Big Bear Hidden Gem

We arrived late on Christmas day. They were very nice at check in, brought extra pillows and blankets quickly. The property has a ton of family friendly amenities and gorgeous view of the lake
