A luxurious accommodation in an idyllic location.

I stayed in Unit 3 at the top of the property, with wonderful views of the surrounding Yarra Ranges. The spotless unit is beautifully appointed with a full-sized kitchen, bathroom with choice of both a standard non-detachable hi-rise shower head, or hand-held shower head, and a king-sized bed fitted with an electric blanket for the winter. A three-seater couch with two recliners and console is situated in the middle of a spacious living area in front of a large wall-mounted TV, which I could also watch from the bed or the corner spa bath, above a gas fireplace, which was so cosy to have on when the night got a bit chilly. The living room opened up onto a deck with a small outdoor setting (small table and two chairs, perfectly adequate for the size of the deck) and a Weber BBQ, and the entire unit can be heated (or cooled) with a split-system air conditioner. The small cupboard in the corner of the bedroom to hang your coat in, contained a shelf with some family board games, an extra blanket, and a couple of fluffy robes and slippers. The full-length mirror on the door of the cupboard, and the cleverly hidden wall-amounted iron board are very nice touches to an already impressive accommodation. On top of all of that, there is also a stereo system, an automatic coffee machine with real beans and steamer to froth your milk, a small selection of "mini bar" items for purchase and a wine fridge filled with local tipples (also for purchase; information about each bottle is provided), and proper glassware to enjoy them from (not clunky thick goblets)! A clear and concise operating guide for the coffee machine, gas fireplace, split system etc. was well-received, as were the pamplets for local eateries and activities to do in the region (if you ever intend on leaving the unit!). A small desk in the corner of the bedroom also allowed for a bit of emailing. It was nice to flick through the many lovely comments left by previous guests in the guestbooks, too.

The driveway to Units 2 and 3 is rather steep, but not too difficult to manage once familiar with the layout of the parking bays.
