It was fine for what it was

The room was clean, the beds comfortable and the location just where we wanted to be.

− The room was very disappointing and looked nothing like the image seen when booking. The street it was on was rather run down and the outside of the property did nothing to improve this. Inside was drab and dull. Our room was small and felt rather cramped. The shower space was small and the shower door was off its runner when we arrived and took some effort to replace. It felt insecure. Two of the ceiling tiles were out of place and one was heavily discoloured. The window blind had a missing panel and many of the weights were also missing, so it hung badly. Despite the window being open most of the time the room felt stuffy and there was only one double electric socket accessible. Additionally, one of the light bulbs in the overhead light did not function. Had the location not been so close to the station and the beautiful Bute Park, where we spent most of our evenings we would not have stayed.

La proximité était interessante, et la salle de bain commune était peut être le seul élément propre de cet hôtel.

− À peu près tout était chaotique : le personnel, normalement disponible et sur place de 9h à 17h n’étais pas là lorsque j’ai eu besoin (un jour en semaine à 16h20). Commençons par les rideaux qui n’occultent en rien la lumière : réveil à 5h du matin à cause du soleil Dans la chambre, un lavabo : c’était sans compter le fait que le robinet était cassé. En une nuit j’ai dû tuer minimum 3 araignées, la propreté reste donc à revoir. J’ai dormi 1 nuit sur les 5 de prévu dans cet hôtel : mettre un pied dans cette chambre m’a répugnée, un conseil allez mettre votre argent ailleurs, sur la même route plein d’autres hôtels où les chambres sont agréables et le personnel est à votre écoute.

The location was right in the centre. So ideal Bedding was clean

− Very basic rooms Was a bit concerned the front door code was the same as our room. Made me think every room was on the same code.
