10.0Gosh what a lovely stay we had! Our host Natalie was wonderful - so helpful, kind and funny. Free shuttle to and from the station was appreciated! We were greeted by staff as soon as we pulled up, check in was a breeze, Natalie gave us a tour of the place and made us tea in our room and explained everything to prep us for our night stay. We were lucky enough to be upgraded and our room didn't disappoint! Super spacious and 2 private balcony baths overlooking the serene garden! We enjoyed the walk through the garden before dinner. Dinner was fantastic! Very traditional and so fresh! Natalie served the courses in our room and explained each dish as it came. The owner also greeted guests in their room during dinner and she was very lovely. Breakfast was the same. The place has massages and aromatherapy on site, games corner, tea ceremony room, public and private baths and a really lovely gift shop. We were so relaxed the entire time and was a lovely stay to allow some downtime between big travel days. Highly recommend!

Wish we had more time to enjoy the ryokan experience as one night was insufficient time.
7.0It was a Traditional ryokan with indoor and outdoor hot springs.
− The shuttle bus to Komatsu Station was too early at 9.30am. They were inflexible and didn’t allow us to leave later even though we were the only ones taking the shuttle to the station. This gave us very little time in the morning to use our own room onsen baths as we took an hour for breakfast.
Perfect experience for a Japan trip
10.0Very friendly staff accommodating your stay. The hotel has multiple baths to soak in as well as offering a relaxing atmosphere. The shuttle service makes it easy to reach the hotel and take the train to your next destination. The times are perfectly aligned with the train schedule. The diner is elaborate and very good. The breakfast also does not fall short. I suggest arriving on time to have time to enjoy soaking in the baths around the diner and breakfast.
Very nice traditional ryokan experience
9.0Private onsen in the room. Beautiful building, garden, and room. Very complete and generous meals. Good services provided, we did the aroma therapy and it was great. Our main staff, Natalie, was very kind and helpful. She took the time to explain things to us and helped us with everything.
Reservations are required for private bath/onsen. Reservations can be made by contacting the ryokan prior to arrival, using the contact information on the booking confirmation.
