Bad experience ever.

I booked White shark backpackers when I arrived there the owner told me that she didn't received my booking and end up sending me to her husband guest house called Gansbaai backpackers 😔. I was very disappointed about the room. The linen sticks(cigarette) , no lock for the door. No cleaner( helper). I booked twin bedroom but we were given another with four beds and we lose R40 according to the room category. It was really uncomfortable to sleep on the dirty linen for whole two nights.😞 Appliance are there except iron... when I asked the owner told me that I suppose to bring mine 😔. I was every disappointed.

Vale a pena por uma noite, para na manhã seguinte mergulhar com os tubarões. Fica bem perto de alguns locais de saída para o passeio (fique atento se a empresa que você escolher fica no porto perto do hostel). A dona do hostel é super atenta e boazinha!

Convenient, but VERY cold in wintertime

The owner was nice enough, and it's conveniently located near the cage diving places, but having stayed there in July, we found the room to be absolutely freezing. I realize it's South Africa, and places often aren't equipped with proper insulation, but this was by far the coldest experience we had in two weeks of travel there. This, and the fact that the wifi didn't really work, left kind of a bad taste in terms of value for money.

Pour une auberge type "backpacker", le confort était au rendez-vous. Chambre double simple mais agréable, salle de bains avec douche et baignoire, salle de séjour avec vue sur la baie super équipée. Seul point négatif : la qualité du réseau wifi.
