2.0We got there and there was a note on the door saying the hotel was repossessed as and they still took payment out of my account do I’m now in the middle of trying to get money back,

Left out on the street!
2.0My wife has stayed here in the past and liked it, however, this place is currently closed and up for sale (Sep 2025). We arrived on a friday night after making a booking a couple of months prior. The doors were locked, curtains all drawn and no lights on. No response when ringing bell or knocking. On calling the 'hotel contact number' we were connected to a foreign call centre who were of little help, and Hotels.com are refusing to refund our payment because they cant get approval from a manager... He's legged it!
