Billigt & Bra
8.0Det är ett väldigt billigt hotell centralt i Kalasin! Helt klart prisvärt! Rena sängkläder, AC & varmt vatten.

2.0Dirty, rundown and old.
Great 👍 Hotel!
10.0Spotlessly clean well equipped twin bedded ensuite room. Friendly staff and ideal location just five minutes walk from the bus terminal. Would certainly recommend this quality hotel with its cosy lobby.

8.0Aug. 14 at approx. 22:40 (I was counting the minutes before last call 02:00 at the two knight clubs next to each other by the bus station and town square) asked the reception boy in Thai about keeping the room one more night, he looked in his big book and said "yes, the room is available tomorrow night" the 15th, but the point was to extend my stay, not ask academic questions such as "does the sun rise in the east?" We had a phone call the next morning. I was the paid guest, booked on Expedia, not girlfriend, but we gave them her Thai phone number. Front desk called room this morning, I was in lobby level excellent coffee shop, they should have asked for ME, asked ME to come to the desk or call them once I was back in the room. Everything is funny here, I tried to complain at check out time late morning today, and I just got a smile and "sorry". There should be warnings and after three, fire them. Hire the girls in the coffee shop to run the reception, two of them spoke English. Reception was Thai language only.
TERRIBLE WiFi, Expensive for its shabbiness
6.0They claimed to have WiFi, but it was truly dreadful. It kept going in and out, and often out for a long time. When it worked at all, it was the slowest I have had since dial-up modems. The signal strength in my room was poor, though that was not the cause of the problem. Overall, the WiFi was "free" (as in, no extra money) and worth every penny. I need Wifi that stays connected and at least moderate speed, so I won't stay here again. Location: a reasonable walk to bus station, but not with any amount of baggage. Aside from the hotel restaurant with its limited menu and limited hours, there were no nearby restaurants. I had cold showers until I complained and discovered that there is a circuit breaker that they always turn off, and you have to know to turn it on. No sign to tell you that. The cleaning staff decided that since I was in the room, they did not have to clean it that day, but at least they left water. I thought it was expensive for the condition of the room (worn, in need of renovation) and the location. Unfortunately, Mueang Kalasin does not have very good hotels. BTW No Lift.

4.0Good location in the heart of Kalasin. If you get a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor, you’ll have to carry your luggage up the stairs. There is no lift. Standard 2.5 - 3 star hotel. Night staff was terrible. I asked for the WiFi and she told us it was on our room key. We looked at the room key and it wasn’t on it. She then told us we can look up the WiFi and the password on the internet! She obviously didn’t want to help us because we interrupted her YouTube video. I instead asked if there was a small sheet with the WiFi information on there. She didn’t know where it was and asked someone who was sleeping for help. Eventually, after 5-6 minutes they found a small sheet with the information. If she looked for the WiFi paper to begin with it would have been much faster. Sad to say, I won’t be coming back after that rude interaction. I’ll be staying at Rimpao or the Dino Studio instead.
