Great spot! Great price! Worth it!
10.0This place is great! It is run by a family and the service is exceptional. They take a lot of pride in their business and strive to make the customer feel happy.
− This place is a little far from many of the ski resorts, restaurants, and stores without a vehicle. There is on site breakfast and dinner offered for a modest fee and it is delicious! The public shuttle bus and taxi cabs are expensive and add at least 2000 yen cost to your day of skiing. However, my favorite location to snowboard in this area is Suginohara and it is literally ski in ski out from the accommodation. There is a lift directly within eye sight of the location that takes you up to the ski resort (first ride of the day is free). It may be worth it to rent a vehicle if I stay there again. Otherwise, I might stay more in the Asakusa area where there are more restaurants and stores in walking distance. I was there for 13 days and felt very isolated from much of the mountain by the end of the trip.
Brilliant rustic authentic
7.0Staff were excellent & the meals (breakfast+ dinner) were really great with a different Japanese style each night. Easy to get to the lifts & plenty of parking.
− Strange combination of heaters in the room, didn't like the heater exhaust smell.
