Terrible customer service!

We haven't stayed at this hotel. The room that we booked through hotels.com was already given away. The owner had no similar room left. We were offered two rooms (for a total of 4 people) instead of one familyroom (for 5 people) of which one room had no airconditioning. The owner was very shorttempered and blamed us, because, according to him, we booked too late. The owner also smoked at the reception while communicating with customers. The reception is down the staircase. Because of this both the reception and the upperfloor were filled with smoke and a smell of cigarettes. Due to the hostility of the owner and the fact that we weren't given what we booked ,we decided to cancell. The owner doesn't know how to work a computer. There is only one person in the hotel that can work with the computer (and the bookings of hotels.com). This person was not present and because of that it was extremely difficult to cancel.

オーナー従業員共とても親切で設備と料金を合わせて考えればこの様なものだと思います。 ただ、このホテルにとって大変お気の毒なのは、シャウエンのメディナからかなり離れている事です。短期滞在の旅行者は青いメディナが目当てです。シティビューとは言っても青い町並みではありません。メディナ迄は10DHです。観光以外の方、観光でもメディナには泊まりたくない方にはお勧めです。

スタッフの方は非常に丁寧で、チェックイン後に共有スペースにいたところ、ミントティーをサービスでいただけたりしました。 フロント前のメイン出入り口は夜間施錠の上、フロントにスタッフが寝泊まりされており、安全でした。 ただ、シャワーはお湯があまり出なかったため、バケツに貯めては浴びるというスタイルになりました。夏なら問題ないと思います。

To start with, once I arrived they said I didn't have reservation. I asked to give me the wi-fi to show in my computer, but they fix the situation and I only pay the tourist tax. The room looks like a 'HOMELESS SHELTER". Insid the room it is discassen, everything is over 100 years old. I was the only forner there, they accomodate locals. Nobody spoke, Ingles or Spanish. The towles looks like rag to clean the floor, I just took a shower and dry myselt with one of my clean cloth. This places isn't a hotel, it is a LOW CLASS HOSTEL. The location terrible in a residencial place with nothing to do or see at all. HOTEL.COM, would have more credibility with the clientes by taking a trash like that out of there site.

It's okay. People are friendly there and helpful. Wish the shower is better and room is heated. I was cold.
