9.0Lovely old style Japanese atmosphere and feel. Food was excellent with a lovely attention to detail. Onsen was well worth the visit...My skin as never been as soft afterwards.
− Could probably do with a little updating, at least some painting in places...But not too much as to change the feel of the place.

10.0Super hotel perdu dans les montagnes. Super calme. Chambre typique japonaise. Le onsen faisait un peu vieillot, mais il est super bien entretenu et propre. La vue du onsen est superbe. Un vrai moment de détente. Le petit dej était fabuleux. On a diner à l'hotel aussi. La commande du repas se faisait par la machine (assez déroutant au début) et les plats étaient vraiment bons (on a pris le poisson de la riviere grillé et en sashimi) A refaire si on retourne dans cette région.

Great service after 16 km trekking
9.0Nice tatami, nice food, services are good In the lobby there is a must try massage chair, after 16 walk this is a must with the onsen. My room can hear the sounds of the creek and the trees, very nice experience I like the pillow, a special material very natural nice to smell

8.0My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The facilities are a little dated - the building looks like it was built in the '70s and nothing has changed since then, from the architecture to the decor, but that datedness is part of the charm. The attached restaurant served tasty meals for reasonable prices. The amago trout, a local specialty, was a highlight. Staff were very welcoming and warm, and they offer a free shuttle to and from the nearby Kumano Kodo trailhead. Not glamorous, but an excellent option for hikers passing through the Omata area.

Please note that there are no public transport services which can take guests to the hotel.
For guests booking with meal-inclusive rate, the property provides shuttle service to and from Koyasan Station, at the following times:
- Weekdays, Weekends and Holidays: departs Koyasan Station at 15:20
- The shuttle departs from the hotel at 10:00 and takes 50-minutes to Koyasan Station
- Please note that the shuttle service must be reserved at the time of booking.
