10.0This is a comfortable hotel and they speak English which helps greatly. Very large breakfast buffet.
Good hotel, good location and good breakfast
8.0I travelled to Cixi because of my job. The location of this hotel is very good, close to everywhere, just beside a park and a nice restaurant.
Nice but dates
6.0Overall, stay is good. Hotel is showing age. Example is pillows in room are very flat and uncomfortable. Updates on small things would make stay better.
Hotels are hard to find in CiXi City
4.0I have stayed at Hangzhou Bay Hotel several times over the years but not for some time. The condition of the hotel was OK but well behind other newer 5 star hotels in other cities. Unfortunately I have been unable to find a great hotel alternative in CiXi City so went back here. Unfortunately there was very little English spoken and the restaurant menu was also Chinese without English. Made for an interesting meal which incidentally was quite OK. Otherwise I would say the hotel was a little tired. Next time I will try to avoid CiXi City altogether.
