8.0The room and facilities were very nice. The staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.
− We stayed for the evening meal, but the menu didn't have enough choice. So I ended up having 2 starters, as there wasn't anything on the mains to my liking. I was going to have the pie but it was just mince meat. It was that evening meal that just let it down.

10.0The staff "The Horse and Jockey Team" were exceptional. I would like to thank Darren, the manager, and the entire team for their outstanding customer service. Unfortunately, I left my essential asthma medication in my room after checking out. When I telephoned the hotel, the team acted immediately and kindly sent it to my home by First Class post. Remarkably, it arrived within 12 hours. I am extremely grateful for their prompt response, professionalism, and genuine care. This level of service is exceptional and greatly appreciated. Many thanks to everyone involved. Steve
